How we handle your data

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Rankona Terminal provides managed Amazon listing optimization, compliance, localization, and reporting services to brands that sell on Amazon. This policy explains what data we access to deliver those services, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It covers data we access through the Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) on your authorization, and information you give us when you contact us or start an engagement.

1. Information we collect

2. How we use it

We use your Amazon account data solely to perform the optimization, compliance, localization, and reporting work you have engaged us for, on your own catalog. We use the information you give us to communicate with you and manage your engagement.

We do not aggregate across sellers, and we do not resell. We do not combine your data with any other seller's data, and we do not sell, license, or share your data or any insight derived from it with any party for their own purposes. We do not publish or share insights about Amazon's business. This is consistent with sections 4.4 and 4.5 of Amazon's Acceptable Use Policy.

3. How we store it

Your data is stored on infrastructure we control and is accessible only to the personnel working on your engagement.

4. How we protect it

We access your Amazon account only under your own SP-API authorization, and we request only the API roles required to deliver your service. Access is restricted to authorized personnel on a least-privilege basis. Access credentials and tokens are held in controlled storage, separate from application code, and are not shared outside the team delivering your service.

5. How we share it

We do not share your data with third parties, with two exceptions:

We do not sell your data.

6. How long we keep it

We retain your data for the duration of your engagement. On termination of the engagement, or at your request, we delete your data from our systems.

7. Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. You can revoke our SP-API authorization at any time from your Amazon Seller Central account, which ends our access to your account data.

8. Contact
